At Beakle, we design our smart birdhouses with care, combining modern technology with durable craftsmanship to provide an exceptional birdwatching experience. We stand behind the quality of our products, and to give our customers peace of mind, we offer a 1-Year Limited Warranty on our smart birdhouse. Please read the following warranty terms carefully, as they outline your rights and our responsibilities.

Coverage

This warranty applies only to the Beakle Smart Birdhouse, which is composed of the following components:

  • Camera

  • Antenna

  • Solar panel

  • Battery

  • Wooden birdhouse frame

Accessories, add-ons, decorative items, and all other products sold under the Beakle brand are not covered under this warranty.

Warranty Period

The warranty is valid for one (1) year from the date the product arrives at your shipping address.

What the Warranty Covers

The warranty covers manufacturing defects and hardware malfunctions that prevent the smart birdhouse from operating as intended. This includes defects in materials or workmanship in the listed components (camera, antenna, solar panel, battery, and wooden frame).

If Beakle determines, in its sole discretion, that a defect is covered by this warranty, we will repair or replace the defective part or product at no additional charge.

What the Warranty Does Not Cover

This warranty is intentionally limited and will not apply in the following situations:

  • Normal Wear and Tear: Scratches, dents, fading, discoloration, natural wood weathering, or minor cosmetic issues that do not affect the product’s function.

  • Environmental Damage: Damage caused by exposure to extreme weather, water, moisture, humidity, mold, insects, animals, or other environmental conditions.

  • Improper Use: Any damage resulting from misuse, neglect, dropping, tampering, modifications, or use outside the intended purpose of housing wild birds.

  • Power & Charging Issues: Failures caused by improper charging methods, use of non-approved chargers or cables, or overexposure to direct sunlight or extreme cold.

  • Installation & Handling: Damage caused during installation, handling, or relocation of the birdhouse.

  • Third-Party Interference: Issues arising from third-party software, accessories, or unauthorized repairs.

  • Battery Degradation: Natural reduction in battery capacity or performance over time.

  • Acts of Nature: Storms, floods, lightning, fires, earthquakes, or other events outside of Beakle’s control.

Customer Responsibilities

To qualify for warranty service, you must:

  1. Provide proof of purchase (order number and receipt).

  2. Notify Beakle customer support within the warranty period, clearly describing the issue.

  3. Return the product at your own expense for inspection if requested.

  4. Ensure that the product has not been altered, modified, or repaired by anyone other than Beakle.

Failure to meet these requirements may void the warranty.

Process for Warranty Claims

  • Contact us at support@beakle.co to initiate a claim.

  • Our team may request photos, videos, or written descriptions of the issue to determine eligibility.

  • If the claim is approved, Beakle will, at its sole discretion, either:

    • Repair the defective product or component,

    • Replace the product with a new or refurbished unit of equal or greater value, or

    • Offer a store credit toward a replacement purchase.

Beakle reserves the right to determine the most appropriate remedy. Refunds are not provided under warranty claims.

Limitations of Liability

This warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of the product as outlined above. Beakle shall not be liable for any incidental, indirect, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of enjoyment, data, usage, or wildlife activity. Some jurisdictions do not allow exclusion of incidental damages, so this limitation may not apply in every case.

Repairs Outside Warranty

If your birdhouse requires service after the warranty period, or if the damage is not covered under this warranty, Beakle may, at its discretion, offer repair or replacement options for a fee. Pricing for repairs will vary depending on the part and labor required.
